About Us
Happy Faces Orofacial Myology is a dedicated Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy clinic located in Canberra. Our treatments focus on rehabilitation or facilitation of correct oral function and harmonious muscle movement.
This is achieved through prescribed non-invasive and painless exercises which can help to retrain and strengthen the tongue, lips, cheeks, jaw and facial muscles so that they can function properly during chewing, swallowing and especially at rest.
Happy Faces is owned and operated by Jaimee Stakelum. Jaimee is a highly experienced Registered Dental Hygienist and trained Orofacial Myologist who has worked extensively in the field of Orthodontics. Having worked in this field, Jaimee is particularly interested in understanding what drives facial and dental development and giving children the best chance at ideal growth.
Jaimee’s focused and fun nature enables her to provide individualised activities that are suited to her clients’ ages and individual needs. Jaimee’s ultimate goal is to help people improve their overall health and quality of life.
